Robert Greene established his reputation in the eighties with his Arcadian landscapes. In the late nineties his work moved towards abstraction and evolved to his current style of variegated, textured monochrome like paintings. Greene’s paintings have been included in a Whitney Biennial. His works are found in many public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art, as well as Chanel boutiques worldwide. Robert Greene was the subject of an exhibit at the Stedelijk Bureau Museum in Amsterdam. His work is included in numerous private collections in the USA and Europe.
